Baptisms are regularly held on the third Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. and at Mass in February, April, June, August and October.
Parents are required to attend a pre-baptism class prior to their child being baptized. Classes are held every other month at 2:00 p.m. in room #101 in the school. You must call the parish office to register for class and baptism.
Reconciliation
Saturdays after the 8:15 a.m. Mass and at 4:00 p.m. Anytime by appointment.
Parish Penance Services are celebrated on the deanery level during the Advent and Lenten Seasons.
First Communion, First Penance and Confirmation
These sacraments are celebrated by the parish with families of our children during the year and with our new adult parishioners at the Easter Vigil as pan of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults journey. Parents and children are expected to be part of the parish religious formation programs during the years leading to these sacramental celebrations.
Marriage
According to Diocesan guidelines, couples are requested to contact the Parish Office to make arrangements for their marriage at least six months before the wedding date. This allows for adequate preparation and personal contact between the presider and the couple preparing for marriage. The couple usually meets several times with the presider and participates in an Engaged Couples Session.
Anointing of the Sick
The sacrament of Anointing is celebrated upon request. Anointing is for someone who is seriously ill, chronically ill or facing surgery. A person may be anointed more than once, if there is a reason. |
